He was a
guitar picker,
loving to pick
when drinking liquor.

He became renowned
across the land,
becoming the lead,
in a Rock and Roll band.

Bats in my belfry,
ants in my crown.
I think I'm turning
into Bozo the Clown.

Late in the day,
not keeping score.
Perhaps I'm winning,
losing is a bore.

Avast the premise
of work to do.
It is well past
making time for you.

Try something fun,
just need a few.
You'll feel great
and friends will too.

Paradox,
Pair of sox,
Paradyme,
Pair of ducks,
Love in twine.
Should you go?
Or just resign?
Take action now,
Just in time.

of a crazed, old man.

of whom you are.

wishing on a star,
will change your life
and take you far,

away to another place,
where Love is near
and there is nothing,
except Wine and Beer.

The dangling participle,
is what was said,
while I was writing
my story instead

I flee in haste,
away from thee.
You scare me to death,
with talk of intimacy.

Must I continue
to run and hide,
when you still pursue,
with my wife by my side?

A book,
a place,
where
words dwell.

A book,
a collection
of words,
stories to tell.

A book,
a library,
of reading,
don't yell.

He spoke,
butchering the word.
How ridiculous,
how absurd.

When your eggs are cold
and your toast is limp,
it might be time,
for a breakfast skimp.

What has happend to,
this old body of mine?
I feel my fitness has waned,
no exercise, too much wine.
