Fairwinds waft over sea,
land and plains.
Mountain high shuffle
wind in updrafts,
creating turbulence.
Clouds form
accumulating moisture,
creating a beautiful
Cumulous Nimbus,
dark at the base,
vertical and potential
Thunderstorm.

A trickle of water,
down the hill,
across the meadow,
dale and glen,
to a pond,
water still,
to the edge,
where it spilled
into a stream.

Shaken branches,
trees tall,
cones dropping,
as needles fall.

Summer heat,
hard on trees.
Rain of Fall,
if you please.

Another year
of dry weather.
Two years
in a row.
Not a
good thing
in the
Evergreen State.

Off the cliff,
he sprang
with glee.
He would
soon fly
and it
worried me.
He was
young and
foolish,
you see,
as most
young "Gulls"
are. Just
not you
or me.

Fair the wind,
comes from the Sea.

sweet air to Yee.

Love the rain
freshened smell
of the sea.
Primitive thoughts
of our origins,
percolate the mind.

Walk the path
down the hill,
past the
golden Daffodil.
Stop and reflect
the scenic view,
marvel at the
sky, so blue

Cool this morning
with temperatures rising
to another warm,
Pacific Northwest Day.
A cool breeze
ruffles the leaves
and squeezes the
limbs of the tall
Fir trees.
The first hint of
Fall touches the air.
Leaves will begin to turn
colors as the evening
coolness follows
Natures lead.

Barren the branch,
no leaves appear.
Will they return?
Perhaps, next year.

The light,
the shadow,
meld into grey,
A colorful spot,
who's to say?
