Self-imposed, criticism,
is the worst.
Self-induced pressure,
make my head burst.

Sitting, when Harry Nilsson,
starts singing,
"Living without you."
Cripes, just what I needed.
Then I thought of my wife.
Different story. Harrys singing
about leaving a girl.
A choice.
I think about losing my wife.
A choice no one made.

Have we parted ways,
without a fight?
My mood is darkness,
both day and night.

Is this it,
no more hellos.
No more buttons,
no more bows?

If my words,
have hurt you, too,
please let me know.
I do care about you.

I look,
I see,
a reflection,
of someone,
with old hair.
What stories,
that old head,
could tell.

May I tell you,
how I feel,
when I'm around you?

My spirit will fly,
when you are near.

I love your smile,
your brown eyes, too,

All the pleasure,

makes my life,
a beautiful event.
