Richard Bach -  American writer (born June 23, 1936) - He has written numerous flight-related works of fiction and non-fiction. His work include Jonathan Livingston Seagull (1970) and Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah, both of which were among the best sellers in the 1970's. More 

Ralph Waldo Emerson ~ (1803 –1882) American poet, philosopher, essayist and abolitionist.  His first two collections of "Essays" First Series (1841) and  Second Series (1844), represent the core of his thinking. They include  "Self-Reliance", "The Over-Soul", "Circles", "The Poet",  "Experience" and "Nature". His work has greatly influenced the thinkers, writers and poets that followed him. , He wrote: "In all my lectures, I have taught one doctrine, namely, the infinitude of the private man" More

Bruce Barton (1886 - 1967) American author, advertising executive, and politician. Born in Robbins, Tennessee, he represented Manhattan in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1937 to 1941. 

Aldous Leonard Huxley ~ (1894 -1963) English writer, novelist, philosopher, poet and pacifist. He authored nearly 50 books, including Brave New World (1932) and his final novel, Island (1962)  When he was 16, he suffered an eye infection that left him nearly blind for almost two years. His sight was so compromised that he learned to read in Braille. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature nine times. As a pacifist, he renounced all war and refused to fight in any war a decision which caused him not to be able to become a United States citizen after living in California for 14 years with his wife. More
