Are You a Skeptic
• 04/11/24 at 08:16PM •Are you a skeptic,
of things you, see?
I am, at the moment,
for I cannot see, thee.
Are you a skeptic,
of things you, see?
I am, at the moment,
for I cannot see, thee.
When did life,
lose its simplicity,
of loving thy neighbor,
and do unto thee?
To respect others
and all the family,
building it with love
and civility.
From out of the dust,
of ill-gotten gains,
who is the culprit,
sharing the blame?
Comes forth, the dark horse,
with all the trash it will bring,
pouring forth the truth,
with each song to sing.
A backward look
and inward glance,
In a bar, searching for
a new romance.
Not the best
place to be,
if you're trying to
find a new reverie.
Floundering,
in a sea,
of unfulfilled dreams,
searching for thee.
NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day:
Start at the upper left above and you can follow the progress of April 8's total eclipse of the Sun in seven sharp, separate exposures. The image sequence was recorded with a telescope and camera located within the narrow path of totality as the Moon's shadow swept across Newport, Vermont, USA. At center is a spectacular view of the solar corona. The tenuous outer atmosphere of the Sun is only easily visible to the eye in clear dark skies during the total eclipse phase. Seen from Newport, the total phase for this solar eclipse lasted about 3 minutes and 26 seconds. Monday's Eclipse Imagery: Notable Submissions to APOD

"The James Webb Space Telescope, or JWST for short, is one of the most advanced telescopes ever built......... It was launched into space on Dec. 25, 2021, and within a month arrived at its final destination: 930,000 miles away from Earth. Its location in space allows it a relatively unobstructed view of the universe".... More at The Conversation➜
A bright,
heavenly floss,
a thread, suspended in air,
flits across my head.
What a strange phenomenon,
on this early Spring morning,
when bits of colored thread,
from the recently born spirits,
encompasses you.
Golden rays of sunshine,
filtered through,
flowering trees,
bringing an essence.
A scent which will overcome,
all your earthly desires.
Church bells,
clattered, clanging in the night,
a continual noise,
putting earthly spirits in flight.
Is it time to give up,
playing this game,
searching for someone to love,
not my intent to name.
