Sometimes there is a hidden bond,
Between a woman and a man.
I can not explain that feeling to thee,
For it continually happens to me.
There is no rhyme or a reason.
It is not driven by any season.
Where you go, I will follow,
For this love of life, may pass tomorrow.

There is much delight
watching Nature perform
it's tasks of preparation
for the upcoming Spring.
To see the old bulbs
poking through the dirt;
observing the new buds
on branches, so bare,
makes me thankful
to be on this earth,
where there will soon be
beautiful plants and flowers
and of course, lest I forget,
the Hellebores, have been
in bloom for a month.
Thank you Lord for
giving me one more
year on the land.

It's not a loud noise,
just a continual whir,
as the Hummingbird approaches,
with wings, all a blur.
I stop with my pruning,
so that I can see.
The Hummingbirds a hover
and it's watching me.

When I see you
and I know that you hurt,
I wish I could give you
A magical shirt,
That would take away
All of your ills,
better than any
of the prescription pills.

Why do you care?
Aren't you aware,
That I don't belong
And it won't be long,
When I am free,
To just be me.
No music to dance to,
No reporting to do,
For I will only,
Think about you.

When day is done and the Sun has set,
A glass of wine in hand and yet,
The memories of those days gone by,
May bring a tear to my eye.
Remembering the first time that we met,
Brings back an emotion, I won't forget.

We had a great moment, yesterday,
When all troubles and sorrow,
Were laughed, far away.
The magic of laughter, dearest friend,
As I am happy to say,
Should be something we reach for
During every time of the day.
It's the joy from our loving
That is here to stay.

The Wind gallops, swiftly, down through the trees.
It's a strong wind, not really a breeze.
The Wind around Ellensburg, bends all it sees.
Arriving in the early morning, not saying please,
But comes uninvited to our face, arms and knees,
Bringing Top Soil and brush, like a disease.

So my friend, it's a quarter to three.
I arose from my bed so I could see
The wind blowing hard, into my tree.
The limbs did shimmy and did flutter.
Thank God my heart did not shudder,
As gust after gust, rattled my abode,
from rain on the winds coattails it rode.

My lonely days are gone.
I know not where.
The night is upon us
With darkness everywhere.
The Dawn peeks in the window
As the Sunlight glares,
Except for that hidden spot,
Underneath the back stairs.
A place, where, as a child
I would hide away
With my imaginary friend,
Who I did play.

Will you say, tomorrow
what you said today
and relive the sorrow,
that's here to stay?

The rippling of fast water,
Across moss laden stone,
With gurgling, bubbling sound,
Slashing water, here and there,
Brings back memories
Of the freshest of air.
Standing on the bank,
Of this beautiful sight,
Makes my senses soar,
With so much delight.
