The question, is for me to say,
On such a grand and glorious day,
When I awake, at early morning light,
Is what I write, so very trite?

Love's a river going out to sea,
Full of passion, for you and me.
Passion's compelling emotion, a force to be,
Letting people know, my love for thee.

When your world is, going so nicely,
You think all your life is grand
And then you realize, that more precisely,
That fate is clutching at your hand.
Then it may be time to evaluate,
Your life and value that you bring,
Realizing that no matter, if you deliberate,
You would have acquired, fewer material things,
If more time was spent on love,
For your family, neighbors and of friends,
Praying to the Lord, in Heaven above
You would not have to make amends.

I am so tired, I have said,
To write these sad words, of dread,
That I now must find, for me,
Something, so lovely, for me to see,
To help me write, about the love,
Provided by the Great God, up above.

I became aware of you standing there
With all your brown hair, hanging down,
Covering your ears and eyes of brown.
It was then I noticed your smile.
It was not long, until I spoke
And asked you to talk for awhile.
In moments, like this, recall the past
Of beautiful memories, that need to last
Forever, in my mind and thine,
For the remembrance of yours and mine.

At long last, the dawn arises,
With the presence, of breaking Sun.
No more the night's oppressive blackness,
With the dawning, comes the measure.
There is much more, to be done.

The days of darkness, will soon pass
And light of day, replace the morass.
The evil lives on, as haters amass,
Suppressing all those, who differ in class.
It's a terrible thing, if you agree,
Our citizens, all must be set free.

I will do anything, anything at all,
In Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall,
To stay with you, thick or thin,
Good or bad times, without or within.

God only knows, what is in store,
For those who trod this path before.
Descending into, the loss of a mind,
Painful to see and much too unkind.
For that path, that does still descend,
Into a life, now lost into oblivion.

There was no expression of love, today,
No hugs, no kisses or to say,
I love you so, please do stay;
Talk to me, about things, far away.
No touching, no holding, nothing, any way
Conveying love, that was, has gone astray.
Perhaps it will return, some spring day,
That's my plea to God, I pray,
To please return the love, I say,
Left her love for me in disarray.

A spring wind, whistles through the willows,
The ground beneath, is wet with rain.
The coolness of the breeze, does remain,
Until the Sun, pops out, once again
And the glories of springs song refrain.

Each morning, comes the dawning
Of a bright, new, sparkling day,
As the Sun slowly rises,
On it's chosen path, today,
To say "Good Morning World."
