The Sun broke out
on this lovely Fall day,
only the wind gusts
kept us from being outside.
There was a nip
of Frost, in the air
as the flowers and leaves
have made their last gasp,
as Nature's cycle had,
collapsed the mass brood
of the Dahlias, so full
of forgotten blooms, leaf and stalk,
which creates a subject
during this long Fall stroll or walk.

Does growing older,
increase your affection,
for others? There is
No fear of rejection.

Go into the darkest night,
flashlight in hand.
Look for your life's truth
and you will understand,
the sadness of others
you can provide a hand.

Happy the thoughts
On this wonderful day.
Please be calm now,
Especially in this way.
Fear not the morrow.
Use the talent you have
Love you don't borrow

Read the first letter in each line, please.

Look to the future,
as we learn how to cope,
for in the coming new year
I see visions of Hope.
Hope for all citizens,
In God We Trust,
when all citizens
have a law which is just.

Forever, a word about
encompassing time.
Long may it be or short
from design.
There is no life line
if there is not time
to live a life of happiness
and it is sublime.

A lost love,
A lost time,
Where resolve is
Weakened to why
The question of
The morality of man?
If you know
And can understand,
Please explain so
We can remand
Into custody
Of our laws
In this Nation.

A life well lived
is most certainly,
no better then
a life lived in humility.

May I talk to you?
Can I say the word?
I hear you laughing
and say,
"this is the start, not absurd,
of a great, great day
and a pot well stirred."

A long time ago,
in a place far away,
where the children could run
and join others to play,
being close to one another,
not staying six feet away;
playing games or completing a task,
without any worry of wearing a mask

A far away land
at distance to thee,
is where I will wander,
when I search for me.
Travel today
is not the best choice,
unless sitting in a tube
is cause to rejoice.
Crammed into the can
of a cabin of size,
leaves no space to breathe
or to optimize,
the safety you need.
Lord please help me,
complete my next deed.

A waft of smoke
from the small fire,
with intense heat,
stoking a new desire,
to live once more,
under the bright star
and to be the man
you know you are.

Sitting around a campfire at night
the front of you is warm.
Your back is cold as ice.
Telling stories of days gone by;
embellishing as needed
to maintain the lie.

There is no comfort
in sitting here,
unless of course
the cold will disappear.
