Richard Bach -  American writer (born June 23, 1936) - He has written numerous flight-related works of fiction and non-fiction. His work include Jonathan Livingston Seagull (1970) and Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah, both of which were among the best sellers in the 1970's. More 

Ralph Waldo Emerson ~ (1803 –1882) American poet, philosopher, essayist and abolitionist.  His first two collections of "Essays" First Series (1841) and  Second Series (1844), represent the core of his thinking. They include  "Self-Reliance", "The Over-Soul", "Circles", "The Poet",  "Experience" and "Nature". His work has greatly influenced the thinkers, writers and poets that followed him. , He wrote: "In all my lectures, I have taught one doctrine, namely, the infinitude of the private man" More

Bruce Barton (1886 - 1967) American author, advertising executive, and politician. Born in Robbins, Tennessee, he represented Manhattan in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1937 to 1941.
