The storm is here, I hear the thunder,
The winds and rain, put us asunder,
As water's rise, to flood our town,
Doing my best, trying not to drown.
Praying to God, "Oh let us be"
And save all, from the finality
Of life, on this most ravaged space,
And not see again, your beautiful face.
