Why Are the Embers

Why are the embers,
glowing red,
while the fire burns
above our head.

Do you understand,
do you not know,
when fire surrounds you,
there is no place to go.

Fire is like
emotions in life,
we all will experience
a type of strife.

The pressure of life,
occurs every day,
you can't escape it,
by running away.
