Last Night

Last night I sat with my wife,
she looked at me saying,
"Are you married?"
Yes, I am, my heart swaying.

"Where is she?", was said.
You're my wife, I did say.
She beamed, with her smile,
"I'm so happy, I like you today."

Being with her, my desire,
to remain close to her.
She's alone, in her mind,
it must be lonely, there.
