A long goodbye,
a sweet hello,
reminds me of
the day we met.

It was early Spring,
or perhaps late fall,
when we danced
and then the ball,

was a great place
to be with you,
for you made me,
fall in love with you.

It's been many years,
of heavenly bliss,
now I am yearning,
for your sweet kiss.

That will only happen,
if we go out the door,
and search for memories,
about those days of yore.
