Here I am,
back in my room.
A place, a denizen,
of impending gloom.

When rivers flow,
with water deep,
while sunlight,
plays hide and seek,

towards the horizon, far,
looking West,
it's when we know,
our life is best.

Worry not, about
the morrows now,
enjoy your time.
You all know how.

No more the fighter,
I was as a boy.
Now a lover of people,
a bringer of joy.

I am for happiness,
for all whom I see,
but I'll write for love,
when I look at thee.

It's 3 o'clock in the a. m.
I am off to bed,
and I'll dream of you,
its already been said.

I love you more,
than words can describe.
It's always a pleasure,
when you are by my side.

If I will ever,
find love again,
or will this be
the end of this old man?

I'm seeking companionship,
and know not where to find,
someone to talk to,
about life and who's kind.

No more the battles
about nothing at all.
I just need someone,
to love, someone to call.

I see visions of loneliness,
when I'm sitting under the tree,
in this beautiful courtyard,
here for all of thee.

A range of emotions,
is what is found,
when regarding change,
to the environment, around.

Would you stay in place,
wherever you go,
or try to move forward?
I'm not sure I know.

It makes no sense,
for your question is about you.

It's never too late to change
or choose,
for you can't win
but you can lose.

I must say,
or even admit,
these few days,
made me feel less fit.

What costs, so much,
we lose the love
and pray to heaven
to the one above?

You brighten my life,
with your nice smile.
My Soul will soar,
at least for a while.

There should be no confusion
about a relationship like ours,
for it is simple enjoyment,
during this trip to the stars.

Friendships happen, usually by fate,
so don't be upset or sad
for it's all a good thing.
