The Moon is full,
light poked through the leaves
of the towering, majestic Maple trees.
A lonely site on this Halloween eve
to look at the shadows
and how they will appease
the landscape viewed during the day.
A sight to behold; there it would stay.

You have brought me love and affection,
when you bring a fresh baked confection.
I am joyful when looking in your direction.
Apologizing now for my need for attention.

I am now hurting, deeply inside,
when I hear the news; another had died.
Oh the pain of someone and the sorrow,
knowing a loved one will not see the morrow.

Among the cars, trains, abandoned planes
and the cast off remains
of a place of love and renown.
No longer the same, for what remains,
is the memorable ruins of the Clown.
His lies, hateful rhetoric, which he's made,
have caused many citizens to be afraid
of losing their or a loved one's life,
for his complete failure to quickly act,
while spreading lies; not truthful fact.
How can you trust he who would divide,
the citizens so worried they now hide
the annals of a National History.

Here we are,
November first,
awaiting the results
which will soon be
the election results
of November three.
Will the World be blue,
or some shade of red
and will remand, as it is,
but perhaps, instead,
we'll get back to making
this Country whole again,
by changing to a leader
who cares about others
and won't offer despair.
I hope it's the latter
for if it is not,
we'll all deserve this,
National rot.

It was Sunny, yet cool as
the wind gust's swept the patio.
Sit with your back to the Sun,
while your body warms. With
your fingers clutching your Americano.
Too cold? Get a wrap and put
around your lap to cover your
legs and feet. If you need more
protection from the wind,
pull up the hood on your coat.
If all else fails, put on a hat,
or scarf to protect your ears.
Fall in the Northwest. Sunbreaks,
an occasional rain, which freshens
the Fall air. Love this time of the year.

Words can be hurtful,
words can be sad.
Words can bring solace.
Words can bring comfort.
Words can be apologetic.
Words can be loving,
Words can be prayers.
Words can be helpful
Words which we share.
Words of I Love You,
Words which show care.
Words of understanding,
Words every where.

What does it mean,
To wax poetic?
Writing the words,
Coming to mind
With my thoughts,
So much entwined.
A short, simple verse,
Which may not rhyme,
Is it OK,
Just for the time?

Is it time to trip
the Light Fantastic
or shuffle off to Buffalo?
While it seems, in this campaign,
the use of smoke and mirrors
and untruthful innuendo invades
our daily lives, with promises
made and promises kept,
with no regards for others.
Racist remarks, from a individual
of questionable virtue. If re-elected,
what does that say about the moral
values of this country's citizens?

I gaze at the sky,
the twinkling stars,
wondering out loud
if your from Venus or Mars.

to honor the dead.
A fact that is lodged firmly

and the death ahead,
you're complicit in the loss
from the way you led.

When I came to you
with hat in hand,
it was to talk

A man enchanted by
your radiant smile,
with so much charm,
you would then beguile,
with words of passion
and of love,
which made me pray
to the Lord above.

I think you work your wiles
