I am transparent
as an opaque glass.
My mind still cloudy,
with words I amass.
Words of frustration,
not joyful to me,
but words dispicable,
is what I see.

I do not need this
at my point in life.
Enough, already,
she is still my wife.

Can you come the morrow,
at a quarter past three.
I'll be alone,
she's sitting next to me.

I sit and I write,
using paper and pen.
My favorite being,
a Pentel Energel with
metal tip, 0.7 ball tip.
I use refills,
to reduce the cost
and have new bodies,
in case one becomes lost.
I write in a Notebook,
capturing my mind's view,
as these words, now flow,
outward to be read by you.

A pinpoint of light,
comes from afar.

Why
are
we
here?

A misty spray.
A plethora of hurt,
at evening tide,
in the sandy dirt.

Feeling raw, sore
as can be.
Why in the World,
does she argue with me?

She gets mad and
her searing is free.
She'll forget in a minute.
while it still stays with me.

Black was the depth
of his aged soul.
No rightness to see,
in his life as a whole.
Why is the anger,
inside of he?
Can you not live life
and let things be?

I have noticed, of late,
when I walk,
I'm not walking straight.
A small loss of balance,
but no dizziness there.
No vertigo or St Vitus Dance,
I wobble like a crooked wheel,
walking with small steps,
as a doddering old fool.
There isn't any pain,
at least nothing I feel
Perhaps this new two step
is a version of a Virginia Reel.

I met a friend
for coffee, a social date.
She arrived early
and I was just late.

We hadn't met for awhile
and it was great,
to see her fresh smile.
I will now relate.

We have been friends
for many long years.
She listens to me,
while I talk of my fears.

How do you explain,
your feelings to she,
for all of the support
she has given to me?

Torn is the night,
a dark shredded screen,
lost is a love,
somewhere between.
No longer a choice;
Do not have to choose,
no matter the decision,
someone will lose.

Are there words
you see, when you pray?
Words of salvation,
awaiting our judgement day?
Those words, rich with fruition,
promising the Lord's love,
with total absolution.
