They come here, from far and near,
to play darts and have a beer.
The wall TV's, are all lit up,
for watching Rugby or a Soccer cup.
The Pub Grub appeals to she
and it taste good, just ask me.

I am now alone,
but she is next to me.
No one is home,
but it's her I see.
The shell of the person
that was to be,
my life, long companion
from here to eternity.

The little people that I saw, yesterday,
are no longer here; they went away.
Where did they go? I cannot say.
They left quickly and to this day,
I'll never know, why they didn't stay.

What a waste,
life can be,
for those suffering,
a lost mentality.
Thoughts, years ago,
now beckon me.
The loved one,
that I see,
very soon will
not remember me.

There is this light,
deep inside of me,
that's burning so bright
and makes me see,
beauty in our life,
that will last eternally,
for that, was asked of we.

Love is, where it is at.
Be it person, dog or cat.
It is better, loving something small
then not loving, anything at all.

No matter the reason,
No matter my lament,
It's good to know,
there's no emotional rent.

I hurt you today.
I know not why.
It wasn't my intent,
bringing a tear to your eye.
I expected better of me
in taking care of you,
as you did for me.

The words that came before,
are lying useless, on the floor.
Words, bouncing within my head,
for practical purposes, now are dead.
It's the price, one has to pay,
when words, treated with such dismay.
Too late the key, too late the lock,
I do believe, I have Writers block.

Into the darkness, I'll go with thee.
Hold my hand and you will see.
I will be with you for eternity.

May the great Lord in heaven,
watching us all, from up above,
bestow upon all his children,
the greatness of his eternal love.

No clouds in sight,
the Moon shining bright,
makes a beautiful sight,
on this crystal clear night.
