Unspent joy,
lingering
beside, emotion deep
while
bridled passion,
lie inside,
locked within,
my sleep.

Awake me not,
beloved one,
for if
by chance,
would I,
take you at
a frenzied pace
and comprehend

Crooked lights
on crooked streets
of pasty, gray concrete.
A random, wandering byway,
crisscrossing through fields
of marshy, grasses
and cattails.

The entry of the Tolt
into the Snoqualmie
is graceful, beauty
and marks the place,
I have chosen,
for my days adventure.

River mist, rising,
obscures, the far bank,
giving ghostly aura
to the fishermen,
across the river.

I step into, the swift
flowing current
and feel the icy cold, water,
swirling around my legs.
The weight of my body
presses into the sandy bottom
and the waters motion,
forces the sand from under foot.
I feel my feet slipping,
settling to the rocks below.
Serene is my feeling.
I am alone for the moment.

Clouds racing
for the far horizon.
Running from
the evening light,
wind comes
in short, hard blows,
causing tree limbs
to whip, irregularly.
The Sun peeks
through cloud masses
and rain, like
sheeted glass,
splatters on the window.

Creation,
mysterious word,
original thinking,
a new song, is heard,
words that are written,
burst forth, into song.

Creation,
complicated word,
infinite being,
a new voice is heard,
life at it's beginning,
at the moment of birth.

I love you, for all
the world to see.
I love you for what
you do to me.
You are the Mother of
our children,
the keeper of our house,
you are everything and
beloved spouse.
You are there when
I need you
and when I don't,
you're not around.
You love me when
I'm good
and you love me
when I am bad,
you offer me consort
and comfort, when I'm sad.
You are my love,
everlasting,
no matter what will be,
as my love for you,
is for eternity.

You are strength,
you are wisdom
and understanding.
Sympathy and
compassion,
belong to you, to give.
Loyal, trusted friend,
you are Love.
