I See You Now (I discovered this in an old writing)

I see you now,
in colors of warm.
I miss the days when
when our life was norm.

I hear the words,
"I love", being said,
being said all morning,
until we were in bed.

You aren't the same,
neither am I ,
you don't remember,
and I will sigh.

You ask me,
"where are you from?"
I am saddened,
watching you succumb.

I feel hurt,
for you not knowing me,
but I will say,
"I'll always know thee."

Goodnight my darling,
goodnight my love,
I miss you dearly,
for you are my trove.
