Clinging Vine

Why all the excitement,
why waste all the time,
when I have this feeling,
of attracting a clinging vine.

I suppose it is flattering to
have women, I barely know,
hang around, waiting for me,
to be attracted to them, so,

It is not going to happen,
my loved one has been gone,
