It's Getting Close

It's getting close to the time,
when I must shed
words from my mind.
Words Pasay or Dead.

Words of old,
like Thee and Thou,
which I love to use
today, even now.

Why do words
stick in our head,
when thinking of others,
in this life we've led.

I pray for an answer,
although somehow,
it may not matter
if Thee is Thou
