My love for you grows stronger,
Even with my sad lament.
I know not, what is happening,
As my emotions, are a torrent
Of feelings, masked, or otherwise,
Covered with thoughts, well hidden
And kept, from those thoughts forbidden.
What's that mean? I have no clue.
All I know, I must keep you,
Now, for as long as God will allow.
Of that, I know for certain and do avow.

Where has love gone?
Why did it go away?
Will it return again?
Only you can say.

Love is like, a burning bush,
Full of heat and fire,
As emotions, run the course
Of loves, great desire.

Be you not a stranger then,
For there is no time to waste.
Do what you need to do, again
And do it with a great haste.

The pain of living in the past
are the memories, I knew wouldn't last
And so remembering, youth now lost,
Is just another piece of the aging process.

Days go bye, quicker than a wink,
Perhaps it's I who needs a shrink.
The uncertainty, which stays with me, inside
My emotions, not displayed, to the outside
For family and friends, to see the pains
That is coursing, within my aged veins.

For I do not have any memory
Of things, I saw, read or ate
And I can't understand or relate,
To those forgotten moments of the past
Or names of people, I thought would last.

In the dark, early morning hours,
As I arise from my bed,
Life is such a wonderous moment,
As words, enter into my head.
I write them, so quickly now,
For if I don't, the words
Escape me, leaving without a sound,
As they fall, useless, to the ground.

The crazy things, that I see,
Have become, quite a puzzling mystery.
Things, that you knew well before,
Have left and are no more.

Thinking of you, but we have never met,
So knowing you not, I can't forget,
Things that could or may never be,
Part of a new life of history.

Watering the plants, in the morning light
While listening to music, is all right.
There is a peace of mind and serenity,
As I think of love's grand intensity.

From deep within, my saddened heart,
Comes a love, that wants no part
Of someone's loss, that's close to me,
It is the loss of love's memory.
