A Tattered Shirt

She wore a tattered shirt,
untucked, outside her jeans,
with her scuffed boots, size 8,
she was a vision of casual attire.

Her smile, someone once said,
would light up a dark room.
Ah, the memories of those days,
lingers and will be with me forever.

What part of Nature allows some of
our fellow travelers to take on the
personification of beauty, which was,
coupled with an enticing personality?

I will never know. I was left with these,
memories which will remain with me,
until the sky is no longer blue and
the Sun stops warming my life's blood.
