Frozen droplets, of warm breath,
hang in the air
as the crisp stillness of a
winter morning wraps it's
icy fingers on ear and nose.

In the distance, sits the
mountain, decked out in
it's white finery,
serenely majestic,
with it's cape of haze.

The lake,
a piece of glass,
reflecting every object,
lies tranquil, sullen
and emits the pungent
odor of the sea.

Grey is the morning
fog all around,
dim are the street lights,
muffling all the sound.
Good time for thinking.

May good health and fortune 
surround you. 
May you never worry 
anymore. 
May gloom or bad luck 
ever find you. 
May bad tiding never come knocking 
at your door. 
May you live in a world 
of love and giving, 
and may you never wonder 
why, 
certain people keep on living 
while others - even children have to die. 
May there come a time when all others

A golden globe hangs in the heavens,
meshed among the clouds of grey
while sunlight's reflection, from
tall building, brightens up the early day.
A frosty, cold wind blows across
icy patches, lying in the shade,
on this crispy, clear, sunny morning,
the best day yet that God has made.

Winters coverlet falls silently to the ground
covering all unmoving objects.
Satin puffs, reflect the light from
well lit windows.
Peaceful, restful, seeing the first
snowfall.

Winter's mantle,
frozen crystal,
icy twigs,
encrusted grass.
Leaves, lying
beneath skeletal
trees, flaunting
their nakedness.
Starry diamonds
reflecting light
from a frozen pond.

Why must we choose
between two friends,
we both love and trust?

The hurt that is seen,
the pain, that is not,
is hard to understand.

Why those whose love
had been, for years,
now has turned into sand.
