Rosebuds All Stars vs. Billing’s Back Alley Brats, Special Fundraiser Roller Derby Event

Doors at 12:00pm, Game at 12:30.

Come watch an amazing Youth All Stars Roller Derby Game while supporting the Rose City Roller’s Juniors scholarship fund and the upkeep of Rent and Roll, our League equipment rental program.

This special fundraiser event is a “donate what you can” league and community effort to support these programs, as we watch our Rosebuds Travel Team take on the Back Alley Brats from Billings Montana!

Rose City Rollers strives to make roller derby accessible to anyone that can benefit from the sport’s transformative power! We are happy to be able to provide financial assistance to our qualifying junior members. Since 2014, scholarships have covered monthly dues, insurance, uniform assistance, travel, and more. Rent and Roll makes skates and gear available to all, at any level.

Looking for a fun way to support Sisters of the Road? Eat out at select restaurants during the month of May to have a portion of your meal cost go directly towards our programs!

On Saturday, May 19, our featured restaurant is Theo's in downtown Portland. This beloved downtown fixture offers plentiful late-night comfort food, including wafflewiches, Philly cheese steaks, cold sandwiches, burgers and more.

Visit Theo's anytime between 11 a.m. and 4 a.m. to become a part of this campaign. When you order your food, please mention you're there for Sisters of the Road to get 10% of your order's cost donated to us!

Your generous donation allows us to continue holding space for our community--old and new faces, alike--to come together and share a healthy, delicious hot meal.

About Us: Sisters of the Road is a nonprofit Cafe in Portland, Oregon’s Old Town/Chinatown neighborhood working to create the change that will end poverty and homelessness forever. Since 1979, Sisters has been providing nourishing meals in a safe, dignified space. We work to build community one relationship at a time, believing everyone has a piece of the truth and that we are all more than the sum of our current situation or past experiences

This is the 2nd year in a row we will be holding a fundraiser in the name of Ziggy, our beloved goofball goat who passed too soon. All the money raised from our benefit goes into a fund in Ziggy's name for medical care for our current and future rescues.

Jet Black Coffee has graciously offered their deck to us once again! It is a perfect place to grab a treat from us and something to drink for them and relax.

PLEASE EMAIL wwvolunteer@yahoo.com IF YOU WANT TO BAKE FOR US! All items donated must be vegan.
