Celebrate Endangered Species Day at the Oregon Zoo.

Join us for fun and interactive activities from our U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service specialists and educators, who will be teaching visitors at various stations throughout the NESt about endangered butterflies, endangered fish, ending the trade in endangered species wildlife trafficking and the recovery success story of bald eagles.

Endangered Species Day at the zoo is a great opportunity for visitors to learn about the importance of protecting endangered species and what everyday actions can be taken to make sure those species survive. The Oregon Zoo is home to 50 endangered animals, including sea otters, California condors and Asian elephants.

Come to the zoo to learn more about how the Oregon Zoo is creating a better future for endangered animals.
