The YMCA’s Rookies Basketball League is an instructional and recreational league. Registration is now open for children ages 3 to 6. Participants will be introduced to the game and learn basic skills such as dribbling, passing, teamwork and shooting. All players will have fun in a positive and supportive atmosphere. Teams are co-ed and will meet once a week for an hour on Saturdays. Practices will take place during the first half hour and a game will be played during the second half. The first day of basketball will be on Saturday, January 5th, 2019.
