We’re raising money for Washington Kids in Transition with the Edmonds
Waterfront Festival 5K run! Lets get as many kids and family members to
run as we can - our goal for 2018 is 100 kids! The event is open to runners of all ages so sign up your friends and family today!
If you're a parent of an Edmonds elementary student, listen up! Thanks
to Pizza Hut, we're having a contest and the class from each school
below that signs up the most runners will get $25 worth of pizza!
Just make sure when you sign up for the run, you designate which school
and class your student is in (see registration form). Any/all friends,
families and others who sign up may also refer to this school/class form
to help them win.

As the sun begins to set on the evening sky, the One World Lantern Festival begins to shine as the lanterns are launched onto the water. Watch your unique lantern drift out into the water as it joins other lanterns carrying hope, love, happiness, healing, peace, and connection. It’s a night that you’ll never forget.

You're Invited to Choose Your Adventure: Trails, Rivers & the North Cascades 50th!

2018 marks the 50th birthday for North Cascades National Park, the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, and the National Trails System Act. To celebrate these milestones, the National Parks Conservation Association is teaming up with over 20 different conservation, recreation and business groups to celebrate our parks, rivers, and trails.

The event will feature a variety of program elements, including inspirational speakers, authors, scientists, national park rangers,
films, food trucks, beer, family activities, artists, storytelling, music, and more!

All wine, beer, and prize item proceeds will go directly for our program participants. It will support and pay for job training, certification classes, assistive technology and additional ways to promote job success

Cheers for Careers is put on by Neurological Vocational Services - an organization that is dedicated to helping people with neurological conditions gain independence one person, one job at a time
