I took this picture with my Canon 70d at Battery park along the Delaware river in the historic district of New Castle, Delaware. This is a beautiful area with loads of great history. New Castle was one of the first places settled in the US. The cobblestone streets, old red and yellow brick sidewalks and colonial houses are all original and we'll maintained to their late 1700s/early 100s origins. If you've ever seen or been to colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, or a few other restored colonial era towns, theor designers surely used New Castle as a template.

My Take... you absolutely should explore New Castle. The historic district is wonderful. So many old homes and businesses, the courthouse, city hall, the churches, you could spend days exploring it all
