Your Interests About

I think of you often,
While words, yet unspoken,
Lie lodged within.

Soft are the shoulders
Of young lovers,
Wrapped in a warm embrace.
More soft, are the sighs
Of contentment.

Don't laugh at me,
For laughter hurts
My ears,
And I feel sad,
in knowing
I amuse you.

My feelings lie
Crushed and
Crumpled ,
Right below
Your feet.

My mind, all cluttered,
Full of lusty
Thoughts,
With mold covered
Ideals.

Death, peers in my window,
Every night,
Hoping to catch me unaware.
It is I, who does the watching.
I have observed death with it's
Indiscriminate taking
Of loved ones
Or children
And friends,
For no reason.
You explain, I cannot,
Understand why,
One most go before
Another.

Drop your clothes, upon the floor,
Climb into my bed.
Lay your head, upon the sheets
And nestle within my arms.
Let your hair, lie on my chest,
Press your breast to mine,
Love me, through the darkest night
And wake me up, by nine.

My love, lies sleeping
In the shade,
As coolness, closes round.
Sunlight's, muted light,
Gives golden freckles
To her skin
And warmth
Comes from within.

The sighing of the wind,
Are your sighs.
Your lilting laughter lifts
My spirits
And I miss you.

Oroville, Ca

Bright lights of the city,
Shine on the people,
Far below,
Where do they go?

I love the city and
I love the people,
Please tell them so.

Clouds linger, in the sky
Blocking the moonlight
To the ground below.
Look at the city,
and look at the people,
Where do they go?

Do you understand me?
Me with my moody ways,
A friend of the morrow,
An antagonist, who says,
That you possess me.

I don't believe that I will ever
Be able to hold anyone else.
For knowing that you love me,
Is more warming then the heat,
From the brightest Sun.
Before the night has ended,
Before the dawn has come,
I'll look for you through shaded eyes
And watch the children run,
Through crowded streets.

When dark of night
Falls around my door,
I will disappear from view
And come, no more.
Ah, but then, who will notice,
Or who will care,
What will it matter?
