A Story
• 02/27/21 at 07:39AM •A story from me,
a story to you,
for life's goals
are old; not new.
Take charge
of your life.
Revisit anew,
be there for others,
be there for you.
The Strength
• 02/27/21 at 07:35AM •The strength of your will
is stronger, with life's desire.
Light a flame, in your heart,
set the World on fire.
"The loss of Native American land during and after the colonization period remains one of the darkest points in US history, but in the past few decades, there has been a rise in land acquisitions from Native American tribes" ..... Read full article
Is scuba diving safe? This is a question scuba divers are often asked. Most would answer that, ‘yes, it is – as long as you follow the scuba diving rules. However, rules can be broken, forgotten, or overlooked, and of course, accidents do happen. So, what should scuba divers do to ensure their own safety? ... continue reading
I Heard the Sirens
• 02/16/21 at 08:48PM •I heard the Sirens call,
when I first went to sea.
I'm hearing it once more,
as she is searching for me.
A mournful sound, as I recall.
There was nothing there to see,
except to know in my heart,
she will soon be finding me.
Should I hide away from here?
Will she let me flee,
or go to the Earth's end,
to capture the Soul of me?
I now dream of sleepless nights
when I was last at sea,
knowing when the Siren calls,
it may be the end of me.
How Do Words
• 02/05/21 at 04:48PM •How do words, dull as they are,
become sharper than razor knives,
when said with your tongue;
become so hateful, at least to me.
For the words which can be said,
may case much love or be painfully
hurtful, no matter the day or time,
when said in passion,
washed down with wine.
Long May You
• 01/23/21 at 09:37PM •Long may you walk, this Earth profound,
from your early life, to elder days.
A cruel World, with some beautiful times,
with words, now spent, from memory banks,
of empty bins and shelves all bare.
No action now. No one to give
or provide aid to how we lived.
The World
• 01/10/21 at 11:28PM •The World has been changed.
It will never be the same.
Never again, at least not now.
We won't see intimacy or how
to be as close to another,
as we did so long before.
I will miss the social aspect,
like I never did before.
I miss the contacts in time and space
as I yearn to see a familiar face.
A Comment by Carl
Although every passing day brings the world closer to some degree of normalcy, it still feels so far away...

Agree. Off in the distance; a speck on the horizon.
Patience
• 01/02/21 at 07:14AM •Patience,
Calmness,
Civility
Must reign,
Once more,
To provide,
The place
We all
Adore.
The Sun
• 01/01/21 at 06:45AM •The Sun broke out
on this lovely Fall day,
only the wind gusts
kept us from being outside.
There was a nip
of Frost, in the air
as the flowers and leaves
have made their last gasp,
as Nature's cycle had,
collapsed the mass brood
of the Dahlias, so full
of forgotten blooms, leaf and stalk,
which creates a subject
during this long Fall stroll or walk.
Question
• 12/27/20 at 07:35AM •Does growing older,
increase your affection,
for others? There is
No fear of rejection.
