This comprehensive, university-based forestry course for property owners will help you keep your forested property healthy and enjoyable for generations to come. Topics covered will include native trees, forest ecology, forest health, wildlife, soils, invasive species, fire risk reduction, tax reduction and financial assistance programs, and more. As part of the class, a professional forester will come and walk your property with you and guide you in identifying issues and finding practical, sustainable solutions. Whether you have just a few wooded acres or a larger forest tract, if you have trees on your property, this course is for you! This multi-week course runs on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm until Wednesday, May 22nd, 2019.
