How do you know when your pre-teens are ready to accept the challenges of staying home by themselves? And are you ready to let them? You are invited to this informative class that will teach you and your child/teen the basics of safety and responsibility. The targeted child/teen age that this class was designed for is ages 9 through 13. The Safe Kids 101 program trains and equips your child with the skills they need to be safe at home and in the community. Topics Include: Responsibilities when staying home alone, simple first aid, abdominal thrusts, safety in unfamiliar situations such as: home intruder, fire, and aggressive dogs. Also, digital safety and how to navigate the online world safely, including sexting, abuse, abduction and stranger danger. Class Fee: $33.
