Ever wondered how you could help a loved one or a friend who might be battling suicidal thoughts or attempts? “ASIST” is an evidence-based 2-day suicide intervention workshop. Participants learn suicide first-aid skills that help identify a persons at risk for suicide as well as a unique experience with a  suicide intervention model that can be used to keep someone safe until that person can get long term recourses of help. Registration is required online at scsuicideprevention.org. Seats are limited. Llunch is provided on both days. It is a suggested donation of $50. Sponsorships are available.

 This workshop will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday April 24th and 25th, 2018 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. It will be held at the Stanwood/Camano School District offices: 26920 Pioneer Hwy., Stanwood, WA 98292
