"Yep," said the dad, as his son, Joel, 11, took the green kayak out on its maiden voyage on Lake Ballinger. I said, "He didn't want a video game for Christmas?"

It's that time of year again! The Stanwood-Camano YMCA is now registering kids for youth soccer (this program is designed for children ages 3-6). Your child will learn the  fundamentals of soccer in a fun atmosphere while cultivating values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors and better health. This is a non-competitive league that is a great introduction for the younger kids.

Games are held on Saturdays from October 1st through November 23rd, 2019 between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Cost is $45 for facility members and $60 for non-members.
