The lord of Camlann invites you to attend his St. James village faire, with  knightly combat, puppetry, music, crafts, archery, and minstrels.  Come to Somersetshire, ancient realm of Arthur the king, as our morning trumpet & charter proclamation open the village gates upon the colorful world of Chaucer's England in 1376. The pace is leisurely: everything does not happen at once. The scale is small, intimate: leave behind the hectic 21st century.

Since 1986 Ethnic Fest has grown to become the largest celebration of culture and community in Tacoma. Voted the best festival of the South Sound; this year Ethnic Fest takes place Saturday-Sunday, July 28-29, from Noon to 7:00pm at historic Wright Park in Tacoma, WA. This family-friendly, free festival has grown in size and hosts Kid’s Zones, multiple entertainment stages, as well as numerous specialty arts & crafts, food and informational vendors. You are invited to apply to participate in Ethnic Fest and join us in celebrating over 30 years of culture, community and festivities.

Always the last weekend in July, Jazz in the Valley brings the summer fun to Ellensburg,Washington. Historic Downtown Ellensburg is filled with crowds who return year after year to listen to top-notch music in the venues. The 3 day festival is full of music for all tastes, jazz, blues, reggae, Latin rhythms, soul, Dixieland, and rock ‘n roll. $60 Pre-sale tickets are on sale now. In addition, due to the generosity of sponsor, Kittitas Valley Healthcare, the Sunday show featuring Total Experience Gospel Choir and Darren Motamedy will be free.

Experience the wild wonders of Evening Zoo after hours until 8:30 p.m. Take a stroll throughout the zoo and be sure to stop in at Molbak’s Butterfly Garden, Tropical Rain Forest and Willawong Station. An assortment of food and beverages will be available for purchase. Ambassador animal presentations and discovery stations with biofacts and nature-inspired activities are among the Evening Zoo offerings on the spacious North Meadow. Make it a date night or a special evening for the family! Evening Zoo costs regular zoo admission or is free for zoo members.

The 69th Annual Greenwood Seafair Parade will feature a revamped VIK Parade, Very Important Kids. We will be inviting the children of our community and the children from all over the city to register the day of, in costume, to participate in the VIK Parade. Please come and discover the Greenwood Community and have some fun in "our own back yard." The VIK Parade begins at 6pm followed by the Grand Parade at 6:30pm.

Situated in the Willamette Valley, the abbey hill rises 300' over the valley floor - offering views in all directions and cooling afternoon breezes. The evening starts with vespers in the Abbey Church followed by a short concert of either organ or men's chorale. A picnic buffet with options for every palate plus wine, dessert and coffee follows on the lawn in front of the church. The feature performance is in the Damain Performance Center.
