Yes, you read that right!! - The Grilled Cheese Grand Prix is back for Seattle’s favorite festival celebrating bread, cheese and everything in between! 

This year’s festivities include a tasting garden paired with local cheese purveyors, food pairings and over 30 beverages from wine, cider to craft beer on tap! Plus over 20 food trucks cooking up the best grilled cheese inspired dishes in town! This event does allow for families to have access to the food trucks, but tasting garden is ticketed for 21+ only. Walk through 150 year old streets. Surround yourself with history; encounter architecture and attitudes of yesteryear while strolling from shop to shop sampling delicious regional wines. A different local winery is featured in each participating shop. This is a 21+ event!

Cost is $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door! Your ticket includes 8 tastes and a $10 coupon towards your first wine purchase. Check in starts at 3:00 pm and wine tasting starts at 4:00 pm.

Bring your own glass, or buy a commemorative stemless wine glass for $5. You can buy bottles of your favorite wines (cash or credit) after your wine walk, just come back to the check in location at 1001 1st St with your $10 coupon!

All proceeds support the Historic Downtown Snohomish Association. (Historic Downtown Snohomish Association (HDSA) is the officially recognized organization dedicated to the revitalization of Downtown Snohomish.) They are a volunteer driven and volunteer-based 501c3 nonprofit organization. Their mission is to promote, preserve, and improve the downtown historic district as the heart and soul of the City of Snohomish. 


So come try some amazing wines while supporting a great organization and also enjoying the beautiful setting that downtown Snohomish offers!

ITALIAN WINE TASTING

The "Taste of Italy™," the popular Wine Tasting and Reception is moving back to the last weekend in September! The event
will be held this year on Friday, September 28, 2018 and will once again be located in the Seattle Center Armory, right next door to the Italian Festival in the heart of the Seattle Center grounds.

The "Taste of Italy™" is a chance for the general public to try some sixty wines from Italy at the minimal cost of $30 per
person in advance, or $35 at the door if space is available. Each ticket includes a souvenir wineglass and five 2 oz. tastes of wine.
Additional tastes may be purchased for $2.50 apiece, and there will be sparkling water, bread, Italian antipasti and cruditès available for palate-cleansing.

You must be 21 years of age to be able to attend this event and there is no child-care provided. In addition, attendees will be able to view a mixed-media comptition of art about Italy, and the Festa Italiana Historical Photo Exhibit. Patrons can also order cases of wine to be delivered the following week.

Uncork some of the Northwest’s finest boutique wines at Woodland Park Zoo’s after-hours, adults-only wine event, Tasting Flight presented by Delta Air Lines on Friday, July 27. Head to the zoo’s picturesque North Meadow and create your own flight of tastings from more than 65 Northwest wineries on site. Winemakers will be on hand to answer questions and give tips to make the most of your tasting experiences. Purchase a bottle of your favorite wine or a full glass to enjoy while visiting exhibits. The evening includes food trucks, music and ambassador animal encounters. Take in some of the zoo’s exhibits, including Banyan Wilds, Northern Trail and Humboldt penguins. Proceeds from this fundraiser support the zoo’s exemplary animal care program, wildlife conservation projects in the Pacific Northwest and around the
world, and extraordinary experiences that inspire and empower guests to stand up for wildlife. As part of Woodland Park Zoo’s commitment to sustainability, including waste reduction, this is a Bring Your Own Glass event. Souvenir glasses can be purchased at the event while supplies last. Tasting Flight presented by Delta Air Lines at Woodland Park Zoo is for adults 21 and over only. Valid ID is required for entry. Premium tickets for Tasting Flight presented by Delta Air Lines offer Premium ticket holders additional benefits, including early entry, a souvenir wine glass, additional wine tastings, an exclusive ambassador animal encounter and complimentary zoo tickets for a future visit.
