Word of the Day 10/31/23: Persiflage
• 10/31/23 at 02:26AM •Are You Brave
• 10/31/23 at 12:07AM •Are you brave,
or a coward like me,
who is reluctant to let go,
for I need her with me.
I Sit and Wonder
• 10/31/23 at 12:06AM •I sit and wonder,
just where you are.
Are your memories,
forgotten and no more?
I worry now,
more than before.
It makes me love you,
more and more.
To Each His Own
• 10/31/23 at 12:06AM •To each his own,
the order of things,
no matter what
our life will bring.
Face every day,
with a happy smile.
You will be happy,
for a long while.
Too much information,
you'll need to bring,
will be your happiness
and you'll start to sing.
Write of Tomorrow
• 10/31/23 at 12:06AM •Write of tomorrow
and what life may bring.
Think about others,
make your memories sing.
Life is quite fleeting,
in the Cosmos we know.
Prepare for tomorrow,
get on with the show.
Word of the Day 10/30/23: Prodigality
• 10/30/23 at 05:54PM •Reflections of the Ghost Nebula • 10/30/23
• 10/30/23 at 12:16PM •NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day:
Do any shapes seem to jump out at you from this interstellar field of stars and dust? The jeweled expanse, filled with faint, starlight-reflecting clouds, drifts through the night in the royal constellation of Cepheus. Far from your own neighborhood on planet Earth, these ghostly apparitions lurk along the plane of the Milky Way at the edge of the Cepheus Flare molecular cloud complex some 1,200 light-years away. Over two light-years across and brighter than the other spooky chimeras, VdB 141 or Sh2-136 is also known as the Ghost Nebula, seen toward the bottom of the featured image. Within the reflection nebula are the telltale signs of dense cores collapsing in the early stages of star formation. Tour the Universe: Random APOD Generator

Wind Blown
• 10/29/23 at 10:05PM •Windblown rain drops,
pelt the glass pane,
as water trickles,
down the window frame.
From Out the Dark
• 10/29/23 at 10:05PM •From out the dark,
a whimpering sound,
suggesting tears,
with angst abound.
A Long Lonesome
• 10/29/23 at 10:04PM •A long, lonesome
goodbye.
No, "I love you," kind
of try.
Life changes,
every day,
so why bother if love
will stray?
