It's Been Said
• 07/30/22 at 09:11PM •It's been said,
"Don't go to bed mad,"
so, I didn't.
I didn't go to bed.
My patience, is close to
the end. I will stay
and fulfill my role.
It's been said,

What feelings,
now gone?
Indifference reigns,
strong in the
community
and yet,
there is
still a
loving
feeling
of others,
outside of
your family,
bringing care
and affection.
All the wrong reasons,
were hung out to dry.
There weren't any seasons,
no reason to try.
Wasting your breath,
as you didn't know why,
Swallow your pride,
don't think about telling a lie.
NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day:
Get out your red/blue glasses and check out this stereo view from lunar orbit. The 3D anaglyph was created from two photographs (AS11-44-6633, AS11-44-6634) taken by astronaut Michael Collins during the 1969 Apollo 11 mission. It features the lunar module ascent stage, dubbed The Eagle, rising to meet the command module in lunar orbit on July 21. Aboard the ascent stage are Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, the first to walk on the Moon. The smooth, dark area on the lunar surface is Mare Smythii located just below the equator on the extreme eastern edge of the Moon's near side. Poised beyond the lunar horizon is our fair planet Earth.

Sometimes, when I awake,
in the early morning hours,
and hear words in my head,
trying to escape.
If I don't write them to paper,
immediately, I will soon forget
the exact words. Recovering
words lost, even briefly, are
changed and are never the
same. What a loss, to me,
for many of the words are
subconsciously my reverie.
A flash of light,
a brown shadow,
catches my eye.
Is it you, Death,
at my door?
Are you looking,
for me?
Across the grass,
laden with dew,
I made the trek,
with socks, no shoe.
My feet, now wet,
made me pause,
trying to forget,
no reason, just because,
my socks were wet.
Sitting on the patio,
nowhere to go.
Writing an Ode,
which I'll show,
to no one.
A Vignette or an Ode,
to the one I love.
I've known you so long.
Since the planets in Heaven
were formed, into what they are.
Now you are my, only shining Star.
A good friends Mother,
left the World today.
She lived in a Country,
so far away.
a foreign country,
on the Mediterranean Sea.
A beautiful country,
she will no longer see.
Rest in peace, where
you will surely be.
When Urgent Care
is no longer Urgent.
When the sign reads,
"10-minute wait"
and you have been there
for one hour and you've been
told, as you approach the
counter, "We have a room
for your wife."
The Doctor enters and says,
"I've been asking where
the patient for room # 3, was."
My wife has Advanced Vascular
Dementia-Alzheimer's. There
are no filters nor any patience.
Where is the sense of urgency?
Bet I don't receive a survey,
request this time.
