There was no expression of love, today,
No hugs, no kisses or to say,
I love you so, please do stay;
Talk to me, about things, far away.
No touching, no holding, nothing, any way
Conveying love, that was, has gone astray.
Perhaps it will return, some spring day,
That's my plea to God, I pray,
To please return the love, I say,
Left her love for me in disarray.
