Pi Day π (pi) is observed on March 14 (3/14 in the month/day format) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π. Pi (π) Day has become an international holiday, celebrated live and online all around the world. 

What is π anyway? Divide any circle’s circumference by its diameter; the answer (whether for a plate or a planet) is always approximately 3.14, a number represented with the Greek letter π. Mathematicians have been calculating π’s digits with more and more accuracy and have discover they go on literally forever, with no pattern.

International Women's Day (March 8) has been observed since 1909 . The first IWD gathering in 1911 was supported by over a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. It is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.


Anne Waters will be showcasing 12 of her"Wine Collection" paintings at Davenport Cellars from March 8 through June 8, 2019. Address: 19495 144th Ave NE, Suite A-16 Woodinville, WA 98072 

Specially selected artists will be exhibiting with participating businesses around Woodinville during the quarterly 1st Friday Art Walk. There are 17 locations on the Art Walk including Warehouse District, The Junction and Hopheads Taproom.

Tours and guides will help you experience one of Western Washington’s most spectacular natural events – the annual winter gathering of thousands of Snow Geese and Trumpeter Swans. In addition we have flocks of wintering seabirds and shorebirds along with many raptors that call Stanwood and Camano home.

Festival headquarters is the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center in Stanwood, WA.  Space is limited for bus tours – registration will be open soon.
