Words exist,
so we may say,
I love you more,
every day.

I need to write of verse
and the thrill of crafting words,
to help you understand,
not all words must rhyme.

If I were to call your name,
when I heard your favorite song,
would I be a "basket case"
or would I remain forlorn?

A name is important, to everyone,
for it is the only way,
to be well known
at both work and play.

The warmth of love
comes from the soul.
Gushing forth, through
words, soft spoken,
spraying outward,
through people's eyes,
Loves sweet presence,
goes unheard,
goes unseen,
without a sound
if people
are indifferent.

Try not to stifle writing,
words confusing, too.
Remember, you are enough,
and what you write, is You.

The love you have
must always stay true.
Always love your mother,
it's what you must do.

What will this life be,
no matter what you do.
You must keep on trying,
the results are up to you.

Never fear to write.
Fear inhibits creativity.
Your ability to write
words, unencumbered,
is hindered by shyness
or risk of embarrassment.
To have your words
taken out of context,
can be fearful.
Just write the words,
few or in abundance,
to make yourself heard,
by taking a chance.
You may be surprised
by the response
you receive.

The need to endure,
when reaching a space,
in the annals of time,
attainment of grace.

Stand and reset,
an animal cry,
for resistance
you'll live not die.

From out the heavens,
there came a new star.
Use all your courage,
you will go far.

Wishes of others,
the insults too,
will always be
about them, not about you.

Why must fate
be an ugly brew?
Follow your heart,
love will be true.

The way of the warrior,
during life's struggle and strife.
Strong is the will,
a way of life.

Through belief of many,
together, never to part,
I'll protect you always,
you are my love, my heart.

There is no tomorrow
without a today.
There is no today
without a yesterday.

Hold your love tightly,
never let it go,
for without your love,
you'll limit how you grow.
