When youthful glee,
leaves our soul,
when sadness no longer,
makes you weep,

for another,

no more,

and then everts,
your emotions jumbled.

All the things we know.

All the confusion,
not knowing where,
the tools we use,
gone, we are unaware.

Not just your life
will change,
but all your habits,
will be rearranged.

The trauma which
is upon you now,
is composed of
what, who and how.

When words are too harsh,
and their usage, too mean,
one should apologize, quickly,
before mean, becomes obscene.

A new day,
actively being aware,
working hard to survive,
no time to spare.

Hit the "bricks running",
don't mind the stair,
many tasks lie ahead,
no time to spare.

Lost, alone, are we,
striving to make do,
always a struggle,
but it is what we pursue.

May the goal,
you have today,
remain yours forever,
plus one more day.

If life has beaten you down,
if all the breaks, go against you,
you must stand up, once more.
Be assertive, would be what to do.

What games we play
in Life's charade.
Acting lessons were
for the daily parade.

Acts we play,
characters we use,
to fool others
as we peruse.

those actions we
every day, choose,
to be the life actor,
we wish to use.

Is it a sham,
playing this game
of interaction with
others we can name.
