{"id":8854,"url":"https://www.kudos365.com/news/8854-navy","short_url":"https://www.kudos365.com/news/8854","headline":"Navy","content":"In the Navy, sometime , long ago,\r\nmy shipmate had a car, that ran.\r\nA Hudson Hornet, was my recall.\r\nCan't remember the year or exactly when,\r\nDriving to Washington State from San Diego.\r\nWe drove up a two lane road,\r\nNo street lights or buildings were about,\r\nWhen suddenly the headlights went out.\r\nThere was no moonlight, to help us see,\r\nSo we applied the brakes very readily.\r\nOne thing of note, when you can't see,\r\nYou think you have stopped but no,\r\nThe car was still moving, on the go.\r\nSuch a surprise when you open the \r\nDoor to get out and you were still \r\nMoving.
