I was going to buy gifts
or so I thought,
when I espied, these shoes,'
in the parking lot.
What is your sad story
that to me you brought,
sitting there, so all alone,
in this parking spot?
Were you cast off, without choice?
Replaced when someone bought
new shoes to replace,
and leave you naught,
alone in the middle of this
store's own parking lot.
This story may never close,
as that's all I've got.
