The car was a  1930, 2 door, Model A\r\nFord. It was in a friends garage, up on \r\nblocks, with the original wooden spoked\r\nwheels and the tires too.  I made an offer\r\nto this family friend. He sold me the car\r\nfor $100.\r\nThe first thing I did was replace the tires\r\nand wheels, as the original tires were \r\ncracked and wouldn't hold air.\r\nThe interior was remarkably fine. No holes\r\nto see. The body had a few minor dents from\r\na small collision with some immovable object. \r\nVery little damage to a car, older than I.\r\nA  battery had been installed in the car\r\nbut it also had a hand crank, which was still \r\nthere. The gas tank was placed in front of the\r\nwindshield and had a device in the fill cap which\r\nshowed you what the gas level was. There was\r\na choke and a spark retard on the steering column.\r\nYou started the car by turning on the key and pressing\r\na Start button, after you activated the choke to supply\r\nfuel.
