2018 Annual Leap for Green Family Sustainability Fair!

Every year in April, the City of Mercer Island holds the Leap for Green
Sustainability Fair at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center
(MICEC). This FREE event began in 2008 to celebrate Earth Day (April
22) by promoting environmental practices and activities for kids and
adults, and to raise general awareness of local sustainability resources. This year's theme is "On The Move" -- getting around the Island and the region more sustainably...

Live Entertainment & Music (Yaamba Marimba -all day; and The Bus Boys -11:30am) Arts & Crafts Gardening, Plants & Composting Luther Burbank wetland tour Farm Animals Sustainability vendors Food Carts Alternative-fuel City fleet vehicles (Electric, Propane, etc) Electric Bike Demos Transit Info and Updates The fair runs from 10:00am to 2:00pm, indoors and out, rain or shine!
