Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue
Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, & caring citizens.
The Club was chartered in 1952 and in the 1970’s became one of the first Clubs in the nation to begin offering services to both boys and girls. Since 1995, the Club’s membership has escalated from 3,800 to over 7,500 Eastside youth members, ages 2 ½ - 12, and we serve another 5,000 teens and 2,700 football players annually. Operating year-round from 14 Clubhouses in Bellevue, the Club offers a wide variety of programs that foster positive social behaviors and healthy lifestyles while providing academic enrichment activities and computer technology instruction for all youth, particularly those from disadvantaged circumstances.
Message To Our Supporters & Volunteers
The club provides well over 1,000,000 hours of programming for youth each year. Nearly 1,500 volunteers provide over 88,000 hours of donated service to kids! Much of these volunteer hours are spent serving as mentors, tutors and coaches. We also have opportunities for groups to participate in Club events such as “SMARTGirls” sleep-overs, back-to-school school supply drives, “days of caring”, swimsuit or recreational equipment drives, etc. Call the Main Club at 425-454-6162 to find our more about all of the exiting volunteer opportunities we have at the Club.
