AGROS INTERNATIONAL
Agros is devoted to eliminating the cycle of generational poverty in Central America and Mexico by facilitating land ownership and sustainable development.
Agros International partners with communities of rural families as they work their way out of extreme poverty. Agros empowers these families (located in Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Chiapas, Mexico) to achieve land ownership and economic stability through its unique holistic development model. Through their partnership with Agros, the families gain access to long-term credit for farmable land, and gain the training and assets needed to thrive as a sustainable community after the partnership has ended.
Message To Our Supporters & Volunteers
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Agros. We welcome volunteers in our Seattle headquarters to assist with a variety of administrative tasks. In particular, volunteers with Spanish proficiency are most needed. If you are interested, please fill out our Volunteer Application (http://www.agros.org/downloads/agros_volunteer.pdf)
and email to Kathy Riper (kathyr@agros.org).
